Willy's Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother can be added to our bones to make the most nutritious broth
There'a whole lot of heritage behind Willy's Bioganic Cider Apple Vinegar. It's made from 48 varieties of bittersweet apples grown in orchards that are over 300 years old. Mother nature rules the roost here, with the trees, ably assisted by an army of buzzing pollinators, producing wholly natural fruit, without artificial pesticides or fertilizers.
Once the apples have grown and been picked (with wonky, super-ripe specimens contributing abundantly to the flavour), nature carries on her work in the production of the vinegar. As with all vinegars, the magic happens through fermentation. In Willy's case, this fermentation is kick-started by 'The Mother' – a colony of beneficial bacteria that's peculiar to Laddin Farm in Herefordshire, where the apples grow.
Apple cider vinegar has, for very many years, been recommended as a gut-health booster. The addition of a drop of honey adds sweetness if you fancy taking yours as a shot each day. We love its flavour in our homemade stocks. So why not join us? Grab some of our organic marrow bones or an organic chicken carcass or two and bubble them up into delicious, nutritious broths to sip as a comforting hot drink or use in your favourite recipes.
Willy's Apple Cider Vinegar is a labour of love. First, organic apples are hand-picked then pressed and allowed to naturally ferment, making a beautifully natural unfiltered cider. This cider, with the help of fresh Herefordshire air, is left to ferment and transform into vinegar. During the transformation, the Mother's friendly bacteria is drawn in, making the vinegar cloudy and ‘cobwebby’. And that’s about it. Nothing added, nothing removed – 100% natural.
People have been cooking with apple cider vinegar for years and swearing by its benefits. As many of us all aspire healthier living through clean eating, Willy’s Apple Cider Vinegar with The Mother is becoming a kitchen-cupboard staple the world over.

Cooking or fermenting produce makes food taste amazing but how else can we preserve it so we can enjoy it for longer? By sealing in a sterile tin, jar or sealed packet that's how. Food stored in this way are known as ambient and can be placed in a cupboard, they will have a label with the 'Best Before' date on which is when you should consume it by.
'Use By' means you should consume your produce by the date listed and discard if you go past this date, whereas 'Best Before' is slightly less precise if the product looks and smells ok, it is ok to consume only its taste might be slightly less flavoursome. If you have any concerns is it best to discard the product.

Very helpful on the phone . The delivery is very prompt and the chicken I ordered is excellent . It is so good to know it in organic . I love the bone broth they do , very tasty .
Yeah - delivery was fine and packing was good. But you should ignore any rubbish legislation about recycling. There is a lot of packaging and all of it can be collected by you and re-used for my next order. You might say you are not permitted by govt regulations - but I say why should we listen to people who clearly do not have our interests at heart. We shouls take back our power and be our own authority and just be good - common sense individuals. I want to recycle this material - so can you collect it from me and use it again - I won't tell if you won't - who's in charge here.....
