Join us on the Sunday 30th June at 10am for a couple of hours of foodie fun. We will begin the day with a coffee and chat before you will enjoy a demostration on how to break down a middle of pork. Our butcher will share knowledge of cuts and butchery processes before moving on to discuss nitrate free bacon curing and how to do it at home. You will sample a range of different cured mats and cure up your own piece of pork belly which you can take home with you. We will move on to a bit more discussion on how to smoke meat at home before you will tuck in to a barbecued pork'y lunch served at around midday before departing with a full tummy, a piece of bacon, lots of knowledge and a 'how to' information sheet to refer to.
