Join experienced forager and chef Darren Broom at 7pm on the 28th June for a guided foraging walk around the fields and woodland here at Coombe Farm. Nibble on wild edibles as you learn about what our surrounding terroir provides us with. Happen across a campfire and enjoy an informal canape cooked over the embres before heading back to the Coombe Farm Organic Cafe and tuck in to a wonderful menu of:
Homemade sourdough and salted butter.
Seaweed and raw beef bracker, cured egg yolk and pickled samphire.
Beef sirloin aged in fat, baked potatoes dressed with smoked peas, whey, chargrilled courgettes and fermented wild garlic.
Chargrilled cabbage topped with celeria and crispy onions, bone marrow gravy.
Italian meringue, burnty with charcoal, elderflwer infused strawberries and clotted cream, sweet cicely.
Bone marrow fudge to finish.
