A luxurious salt – pungent and coarse with a mineral tang- A seasoning must have for your bone broth recipes
Mined only in Pakistan's Khewra salt mine, our pink Himalayan salt boasts exceptional purity and flavour. It comes from sea-salt deposits found in chambers deep within the mountains of the Punjab region that can be dated back some 500 million years. Traces of copper in the seams of salt are the reason for the distinctive rose-pink hue. Take advantage of the mineral taste of Himalayan salt by grinding it fresh at the table, as well as using it in all of your cooking.

At Coombe Farm we believe in sustainability. And we live it. Regarding our packaging:
Your delivery box is made of 100% recycled paper and is 100% recyclable.
To keep your order frozen we use ice packs which will retain a low temperature for a long period of time. Reuse them for a picnic or simply snip, empty the water and pop in your plastic recycling.
We use paper pulp sheets to insulate the box. They are great for craft projects or can also simply be recycled with paper waste.

Cooking or fermenting produce makes food taste amazing but how else can we preserve it so we can enjoy it for longer? By sealing in a sterile tin, jar or sealed packet that's how. Food stored in this way are known as ambient and can be placed in a cupboard, they will have a label with the 'Best Before' date on which is when you should consume it by.
'Use By' means you should consume your produce by the date listed and discard if you go past this date, whereas 'Best Before' is slightly less precise if the product looks and smells ok, it is ok to consume only its taste might be slightly less flavoursome. If you have any concerns is it best to discard the product.

Lovely size jar, good stocking filler for Christmas time. My only request is that the jars are wrapped in waterproof packaging of some sort as the label got a few watermarks on it which would spoil its appearance if is was for a pressie.Lovely size jar, good stocking filler for Christmas time.
