Organic Beef Dripping / Tallow
Generations of tradition can’t be wrong
Before olive oil stole the show and we were told animal fats were bad for us, natural products like beef tallow were vital for frying, roasting and basting. Though they feel out of favour for a long time, natural animals fats are enjoying something of a renaissance these days. Coombe Farm's organic beef dripping is a pure and unadulterated form of fat, packed with flavour. It's also perfect for anyone following a paleo diet. Just think about deliciously crispy roast potatoes cooked in beef dripping, garlic and rosemary.

Our products are sent to our customers frozen because when we started the business we looked into convenience for our customers. We found that sending the produce frozen meant that they could order for instance a month’s worth of produce and could go into their freezer until they are ready to use it. It also meant that there was less risk to the meat whilst been delivered as fresh meat can be delicate and risky.
-
All of our meat is butchered in house. In December 2018 our in-house butcher was built which means that we have full control of what is cut and also means that we can accommodate more requests from our customers.
You will find all the ingredients on the relevant product pages.
-
We have a dedicated page which explains all the different cuts and where they come from. Find out more here www.coombefarmorganic.co.uk

In the old days, when times were tight, it was beef dripping on toast that kept the family nourished. These days few of us enjoy it like that – but there's no reason why not! An excellent all-round cooking fat, beef dripping is ideal for frying at high temperatures and makes quite the most amazingly tasty and crispy chips. It's also fantastic for roasting root vegetables – adding a subtle but distinctively nutty flavour. Or why not use it as a butter substitute when pan-frying steaks? Basting your steak with organic beef dripping as you fry it in a super-hot pan creates the perfect fusion of flavours and gives your meat a crispier-than-crisp crust around a juicy, pink middle.

Been buying this for a friend who says this is delicious and gets some every time I get an order. Got some for myself this time but it tried it yet though expect it to be up to the standard of the other products. Love this! I use it for most of my cooking and I also use it to get my one of pets to have his daily medicine. In short, we couldn’t be without it and I’m happy to have found an organic source. Fantastic product although expensive compared to Britannia Beef dripping which is priced at 80p/500g. Happy to pay more for the guarantee that the product is from grass fed stock and the fat is not hydrogenated, but still a bit on the pricey... It would be good to sell in 1Kg pots at a lower price.
