Organic Turkey Breast Diced

Lean, succulent Organic Turkey perfect for quick dinners

As a nation of avid chicken eaters, it's odd that many of us only eat turkey once a year. It's a lean but tasty meat so if you're looking for a lighter way to indulge, turkey breast is an excellent choice. Our diced turkey takes our flavoursome organic bronze turkey breast, which is meticulously trimmed and diced by our butchers - making it not only a lean cut, but one that requires no prep and cooks quickly and evenly too.

Since around the 1950s, when Turkey became the go-to meat for Christmas, the poultry industry has been focused on breeding heavier birds, with more breast meat than leg. Because consumers didn't much like black pin feathers, white turkeys have become the norm in intensive rearing systems. At Coombe Farm, our turkeys are all free range and we've chosen the traditional Bronze variety. This old-fashioned breed grows slowly on a diet of organic grass and cereals. Their carcasses are balanced between breast and leg meat and because they've had plenty of exercise they also have bags of flavour.

Product FAQs

  • We deliver our organic produce Tuesday – Saturday and you will be able to choose your preferred delivery day at checkout. The delivery charge is £3.95.

  • Freezing is the most natural way of preserving food. And as here at Coombe Farm Organic we believe in slow-grown, healthy food, a form of preservation that doesn’t need artificial additives gets a big tick from us.

We use blast freezing to preserve all of our meat products. It’s done at the point of butchery, to temperatures of -26°C. This locks in all the freshness, flavour and nutritional value and means you get the longest possible shelf life at home once you’ve defrosted it.

It also guarantees it will arrive with you in tiptop condition - confidently delivering fresh meat would be much more challenging.

  • The poultry we sell has been organically reared they are free-range in smaller flocks than other birds, when the animal is ready it is slaughtered and butchered on the farm it was reared on so not to overstress the birds.

You will find any product ingredients on the relevant product pages.

    Can't Find the Answer?

If you cannot find the answer to your question and would like to speak to someone contact us and we will be happy to help.

Sear your organic turkey breast diced then chuck in any veg that you fancy (leeks, onions, garlic, fennel and celery are all good candidates) as well as a handful of woody herbs and maybe a sprinkling of peppercorns. As long as your pot's big well covered with liquid you can leave to simmer for hours. Putting it all in the oven on a super-low heat means you can get on with your life as the stew brews. When it's done, decant your stew to be used immediately or stored in the freezer.
