Organic Lamb and Mint Sausages

Step aside, pork, lamb just stepped up its sausage game...

Don't get us wrong, we LOVE a pork sausage, but isn't it time lamb had a chance? Our award-winning lamb is packed full of hearty flavour, and we think it tastes delicious in our lamb sausages. We use prime cuts of lamb (certainly not any gnarly bits), add the right amount of fat to keep things succulent and sprinkle over our special herb and spice blend. Sage, thyme and rosemary pick out the grassiness of lamb, while pepper, nutmeg and cayenne remind us that this robust meat can hold it's own amongst bold flavours. Try them with your Sunday morning fry up to ring the changes of the full English.

Check out our sausage shop to see the other flavours we have available.

In many countries, especially Greece and Turkey, lamb sausages are far more common than they are here. You'll often find them air-dried and liberally flavoured with earthy spices and hot harissa. Because our organic lamb is grown slowly on a natural diet of grass, it has well-defined flavour and plenty of bite. These are both things we're looking for in the perfect sausage, so we're confident our lamb sausages can win you over. With this in mind our Organic Beef Sausages will not disappoint

Product FAQs

  • We deliver our organic produce Tuesday – Saturday and you will be able to choose your preferred delivery day at checkout. The delivery charge is £3.95.

  • Freezing is the most natural way of preserving food. And as here at Coombe Farm Organic we believe in slow-grown, healthy food, a form of preservation that doesn’t need artificial additives gets a big tick from us.

We use blast freezing to preserve all of our meat products. It’s done at the point of butchery, to temperatures of -26°C. This locks in all the freshness, flavour and nutritional value and means you get the longest possible shelf life at home once you’ve defrosted it.

It also guarantees it will arrive with you in tiptop condition - confidently delivering fresh meat would be much more challenging.

  • All of our meat is butchered in our in-house butchery by our small team. This means we have full control of what is cut and also means that we can accommodate more requests from our customers.

You will find any product ingredients on the relevant product pages.

Try Coombe Farm Organic lamb sausages in a hearty sausage-and-mash supper with rich gravy spiked with mint and red wine. Or take inspiration from North Africa with a Moroccan-spiced tagine of chickpeas and lamb sausages. It'll have all your favourite tagine flavours but will cook in a fraction of the time. Mop up the gravy with a herby, oil-enriched flatbread topped with sesame and nigella seeds.
