A perfect freezer staple ideal for a million and one recipes-great for stewing
Coombe Farm Organic diced pork is taken from prime pork shoulder and pork leg joints. This means it has hearty flavour and robust, open texture. It's an idea slow-cooking cut that lends itself to all sorts of flavour combinations. From the kick of oriental spices to mellow fruity sauces, diced pork is happy with any number of accompaniments. Our butchers have meticulously trimmed and cut into regular pieces so there's no prep for you and it'll cook evenly.
Pork cut from the leg and shoulder of the pork carcass has a moderate marbling of fat throughout. This marbling is important to keep the meat really juicy and it also adds delicious, sweet flavour when it melts away. At Coombe Farm Organic, all of our pork comes from pigs that are a cross between a Saddleback and a Gloucester Old Spot. Both of these are traditional British breeds that thrive in our climate. Native breeds are recognized for the quality and flavour of their meat and for the ratio of meat to fat on their carcasses. Getting this balance right is all down to the way the pigs are farmed. Our sustainable, organic system always has animal welfare as top priority and we believe that shines through in the meat we produce.

At Coombe Farm we believe in sustainability. And we live it. Regarding our packaging:
Your delivery box is made of 100% recycled paper and is 100% recyclable.
To keep your order frozen we use ice packs which will retain a low temperature for a long period of time. Reuse them for a picnic or simply snip, empty the water and pop in your plastic recycling.
We use paper pulp sheets to insulate the box. They are great for craft projects or can also simply be recycled with paper waste.

Freezing is the most natural way of preserving food. And as here at Coombe Farm Organic we believe in slow-grown, healthy food, a form of preservation that doesn’t need artificial additives gets a big tick from us.
We use blast freezing to preserve all of our meat products. It’s done at the point of butchery, to temperatures of -26°C. This locks in all the freshness, flavour and nutritional value and means you get the longest possible shelf life at home once you’ve defrosted it.
It also guarantees it will arrive with you in tiptop condition - confidently delivering fresh meat would be much more challenging.
All of our meat is butchered in our in-house butchery by our small team. This means we have full control of what is cut and also means that we can accommodate more requests from our customers.
You will find any product ingredients on the relevant product pages.

Pork and cider is a classic combination and makes for a delicious slow-cooked casserole. Just toss your diced pork in some flour, sear it in a hot pan with some hot oil until browned then transfer to an oven-proof dish. Add dry cider, fried onions and garlic, chopped carrots and a good pinch each of salt and pepper. Cook in a medium-low oven for about an hour and a half. Add some roughly chopped eating apples and a good splosh of single cream. Cook for another 30 minutes before serving with super-smooth mash and buttery wilted greens.

the cottage pie lacked moister and flavour.
pork and rosemary burger lacked flavour.
we are two old people living in a flat and would prefer potions
of a bout 12 0z. for two people.
Please, we would like ready cooked meals.
I look forward to having, sometime in the future,
Kid meat, Turkey legs, and Goose Legs
Because of the "Lock In" my family was unable to visit
so the larger portions are still frozen - far too big for us- Sorry.
We are rather sorry that it seems necessary to waste so much packaging.
There is one word to describe Coombe Farm Organic and that is quality - quality of choice, quality of produce and quality of experience. I made a moussaka yesterday evening with some lamb mince, and it was so full of flavour - divine. Even though I am a single person, the fact that purchasing from Coombe Farm also enables me to purchase sustainably reared produce, support an independent business and also support British farming is just the icing on the cake. The way I buy my meat is forever changed and Coombe Farm Organic will always be my first choice.
Coombe Farm Organic chicken is literally the best chicken we've found since COVID, and we have not been disappointed. The flavor and texture are superior to anything we've ever tried.
Chicken arrived on time, boxed and packed well, frozen with additional freezer packs to ensure freshness.
This is a great alternative instead of making a trip out, the flavour and texture are superior, tastier and fresher than anything you could find at the supermarket
Highly recommended! And that’s saying something...something I never though I’d say.
All the best Happy Customer Julie from London
