Perfect for putting a twist on your favourite mince dishes
Rich, flavour-packed organic venison mince is a great way to enjoy game meat any day of the week. It can be cooked exactly as you would beef mince and will be equally at home in chillis, bolognese sauces or pies. Venison is an exceptionally lean meat with bold and distinctive flavour and texture. It works in cuisines of all sorts and is able to hold it's own with robust spices or the sweet flavours of fruit. We've minced prime cuts of venison finely so you get melt-in-the-mouth texture, too.
At Coombe Farm Organic we make sure we use just about every part of every carcass that comes through our butchery. And we're committed to a level of quality that runs through all of our cuts – from top-end steaks to everyday favourites. That means we only put the good stuff into our mince, and we'd never dream of bulking it out with gnarly bits. When you cook our organic venison mince you'll notice is doesn't give off fluid or shrink excessively, it cooks evenly and tastes consistently good every time.

At Coombe Farm we believe in sustainability. And we live it. Regarding our packaging:
Your delivery box is made of 100% recycled paper and is 100% recyclable.
To keep your order frozen we use ice packs which will retain a low temperature for a long period of time. Reuse them for a picnic or simply snip, empty the water and pop in your plastic recycling.
We use paper pulp sheets to insulate the box. They are great for craft projects or can also simply be recycled with paper waste.
We deliver our organic produce Tuesday – Saturday and you will be able to choose your preferred delivery day at checkout. The delivery charge is £5.
Freezing is the most natural way of preserving food. And as here at Coombe Farm Organic we believe in slow-grown, healthy food, a form of preservation that doesn’t need artificial additives gets a big tick from us.
We use blast freezing to preserve all of our meat products. It’s done at the point of butchery, to temperatures of -26°C. This locks in all the freshness, flavour and nutritional value and means you get the longest possible shelf life at home once you’ve defrosted it.
It also guarantees it will arrive with you in tiptop condition - confidently delivering fresh meat would be much more challenging.
All of our meat is butchered in our in-house butchery by our small team. This means we have full control of what is cut and also means that we can accommodate more requests from our customers.
You will find any product ingredients on the relevant product pages.

Where to start with serving suggestions for our versatile organic venison mince? A pinch of earthy spice always goes down a treat with venison; so Indian aromatics are a great match. Try cooking the mince up with tomatoes, coriander, cumin, garam masala and a background kick of ginger and garlic. Eat as a simple supper with rice, or stuff into homemade naan bread as an Indian banquet accompaniment. Alternatively, switch up lamb mince for venison in a rich and warming shepherd's pie. Cook the mince with beef stock, carrots, onions and a dollop of redcurrant jelly – and maybe a rasher or two of smoky bacon – before topping it off with creamy mash and cooking in the oven until crisp, golden and bubbling hot.

The service from Coombe Farm is always excellent - and what fantastic products. Knowing it's all properly farmed and therefore earth friendly is also very reassuring.
Ordered bone broth online. Website easy to use. Delivery arrived on the day and in the time slot specified. The pouches arrived still frozen thanks to the really excellent packaging. I also appreciated that all their packaging is recyclable!
The invoice was in a nice little folder, which also gave some useful information on how to store, defrost and heat the broth. I was quite impressed. I feel I’ve ordered a product that has been carefully prepared and shipped real with care, and that the company has a high standard of customer service. I definitely recommend. Oh, and the bone broth is delicious too :)
