Organic Pork

Organic Pork

From quick-and-tasty suppers, sizzling breakfast favourites and slow-cooked, indulgent Sunday lunches, here at Coombe Farm Organic we believe pork really does offer it all. Our pork joints give you the crunchiest crackling and tender meat that offers a huge amount of flavour, whilst fuss-free cuts like our pork chops provide succulence from the internal marbling. We rear organic pigs that are a cross of traditional, native breeds that thrive in the conditions we have down in the West Country. They live in sociable family groups and grow slowly to ensure their meat has great flavour and texture, balanced by just the right amount of fat.

There are a number of studies that suggest organic pork is a healthier option – higher in Omega 3, Amino Acids and Healthy Fats. There are also several other reasons why choosing organic pork is a good idea. They range from the contribution of organic pork to climate change, animal welfare and the use of pesticides and medicines used in the farming of conventional pork animals having a detrimental effect on our health.
