At Coombe Farm Organic our pork comes from free-range native-breed of pigs that are bred, born and raised in a high-welfare, free-range system. That means they have access to both outdoor space (where they can play in sociable groups, wallow in mud and rootle in the earth) and the ability to shelter from the elements. It also means sows can follow their natural instincts when they farrow (give birth), rather than being confined in crates. Good husbandry is at the core of our farming ethos and we believe an organic system is best for the animals we rear and produces the best meat.
