In light of the Coronavirus situation, we would like to assure customers that we are still working hard to deliver orders, but given unprecedented demand, we have made some changes to the way we work.
We use DPD as our courier service, who are delivering without any contact and will leave your parcel on your doorstep. We deliver nationwide Tuesday – Saturday but regrettably, we can no longer offer our next day delivery service. You will be able to see the next available delivery date at the check-out.
Produce is sent frozen and packed into a cardboard box filled with recyclable ice-packs and paper pulp insulation. We send our produce out to arrive with you within 24 hours but this method means that your produce will stay frozen for 40 hours, just in case it gets held up anywhere. Unfortunately we are experiencing lower stock of products than usual. As much of our produce is farmed and butchered ourselves, availability will continually be topped up, but as a small team there is a limit to how quickly we can do this. We are keeping our website up to date so please refer to this for stock status of any products.
Occasionally, we may not be able fulfil every product in an order, in which case we will refund for any items that are missing from your order.
We have not set order limits on products but please also only order what you need and be mindful of others. We won't run out of stock, you may just need to plan ahead for your next order.
The minimum order value is £40. All orders need to be placed on our website, rather than over the phone. Unfortunately we can no longer make changes to your order once placed. If you have any issues, we would ask that, where possible, you send us an email to [email protected] rather than calling us. We are dealing with high numbers of phone calls and are trying to prioritise elderly or vulnerable customers who can only get in touch via the phone.
Unfortunately we can't currently run our regular subscriptions. Our subscription model only works on us having a certain stock level, which we just can't maintain at the moment due to the demand we're seeing. We don't have the technical function to ring-fence products in a subscription, but we are hoping to make a number of improvements later in the year.
Our team are in to fulfil the orders but we have spaced out our packing tables to maintain distance between them and are doing everything we can to make sure they stay happy and healthy. We are always diligent about our own hygiene procedures, but please be assured that we are taking extra precautions - both in terms of hand-washing and sanitisation and in the additional cleaning of equipment. The virus is not food-borne and all produce is frozen and packed hygienically.
